Preserving a unique indigenous culture like the Rice Terraces so as to prevent it from being overtaken by the global culture of modernization is a gigantic task. I may suggest that educating the natives themselves to increase awareness may help a lot. The government and its people should unite together and share solutions by providing alternative employment so as to persuade the natives to stay to their homeland and preserve the terraces.
