Denise Rocco
Executive Producer, Digital Photographer

As Executive Producer, Denise Rocco brings FusionSpark Media web productions to life. She is known as one of  the leading documentary photographers working on the aggressive edge of digital expedition photojournalism for the past several years. Her work has been recognized by respected photography publications such as Photo District News, Vogue Magazine, American Photo and National Geographic's Online Visions Gallery, She was a key contributor to the online adventure travel projects, TerraQuest and Expedia's Mungo Park. Her work has also appeared in the photography books, One Digital Day, Passage to Vietnam and 24 Hours in CyberSpace. She is the recent winner of an Addy Award for photography she created for a promotional campaign for the Girl Scouts of America.
Toby Malina
Field Technician

Toby has spent the past twelve years working in the technical/computer field. In 1995, Toby joined Thunder Lizard Productions, a Seattle-based conference production company, as Technical/Editorial Director. She was responsible for the coordination and execution of all conference audio visual including computer systems, lighting, sound, and projection. If it broke, she fixed it. Currently, Toby is the principal of MacDaddy Consulting in addition to her continuing relationship with Thunder Lizard. She is coauthor of the 3-volume "Web Site Graphics" series, technical/copy editor for many publishers including IDG books and Peachpit Press, and a project manager for Kindred Communications. This is Toby's second field expedition with One World Journeys.
James Lawrence

For the last nine years, James Lawrence has been writing and photographing for hundreds of magazine articles, brochure text and software manuals for clients such as Outdoor Photographer, PC Photo, Confetti, Canon Camera, Casio, PhotoSoft, Popular Science, Plane & Pilot, Pilot Journal and Photo News.  In addition, James has written the text for two books with David Muench and Marc Muench:  California and Plateau Light (1999), both for Graphic Arts Center Press.  He recently completed Celebration of the Land for Agrupacion Sierra Madre of Mexico City, a major conservationist organization headquartered in Mexico City. While novel writing and minor film roles are on his radar screen, James is mostly interested in impressing upon the world just how beautiful, fragile, and in need of protection Mother Earth is.
